How long will my new driveway last?

Depending on the quality and thickness of the road base, and existing soil conditions, it should last between 15 to 20 years.

Can I drive over it straight away?

You can drive over it the following day, being mindful of turning. Further details provided on the after care instructions.

Can tree roots come through my new driveway?

Yes, unfortunately they can..

How long does it take to do a driveway?

Depends on the size of the driveway. Prep work will on average take one day, and asphalt 1 - 2 days. Anticipate minimum 2 days, this is subject to weather conditions.

What sort of guarantee do I have on my new driveway?

There is a 12 month guarantee on all our work. If issues were to surface, they will arise within the first 1-2 months.

I've just had a new driveway and I can see white lines. What are they and will they be there forever?

Occasionally the metal drums on the roller will leave a "white" edging which appears as lines. It is common to white and rust coloured stains on freshly sealed asphalt. This is not some defect in the sealer or caused by an error during sealing, but actually comes from a natural compound in water, gravel and dirt. Mineral salts can dry the surface as a result of water run off. These marks are all temporary and should vanish within the first few months.
